Article 8 (Suspension of Use of Personal Information, etc.)

If the Company is requested by the individual to suspend or erase the usage of personal information (hereinafter referred to as "Suspension of Usage") on the grounds that the personal information is being handled beyond the scope of the stated purpose of use, or the personal information was obtained by fraudulent means, the Company will conduct the necessary investigation without delay.
  2. If the Company determines that it is necessary to respond to the request based on the investigation result in the preceding paragraph, the Company will implement Suspension of Usage without delay.
  3. Should the Company decide to implement Suspension of Usage, etc., under the aforementioned provisions, or opt not to implement Suspension of Usage, etc., the user will be promptly notified.
  4. Regardless of the previous two paragraphs, if Suspension of Usage involves significant costs or is deemed difficult, alternative measures necessary for protecting the user rights and interests may be implemented, and such alternatives will be taken.
